Was it worth it you're thinking?
Oh totally! I would do it all over again too. It was great fun catching up and laughing with family. The hardest part however is where the relevence to this particular blog comes in. THE GOOD-E-LISCIOUS FOOD!
Oh snap!
So Tuesday night before we left I slaved away until 1 am. trying to figure out some healthy snacks for the drive to Idaho. I came up with whole wheat oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
Well you're DEAD WRONG ...
What a disappointment! I was so excited to get them out of the stove when the buzzer went off and there sat 12 BALLS of cookies. What? Apparently these cookies don't flatten out when you cook them.
Second batch. Lets see what happens now. I decided to "pre-flatten" the dough by squishing it before placing it on the cookie sheet.
Did it work?
Well the cookies were now at least cookies- but they still tasted the same. Dry and crumbly.
And the worst part???
What they did to my intestines afterward. I DO NOT recommend these cookies for any type of traveling trip what-so-ever. LOL!

I also have to add for all of you who are following! While I was away my blog reached it's 2000th view! Thank you for all of your support and interest in my blog. I know I can achieve my goals because I have family and friends who care.
Love to all and remember: You are beautiful!
